Tough loss (12-25, 20-25)to an experienced and mature team in Belleville Zion.  Boys Volleyball ends it season over .500 at 7-6, which is a job well done considering we are playing with most of the team only having the experience of this season.  Most teams we play have boys that have been playing together since 5th grade.  We have a great group of boys that have jumped in and have learned a ton this year.  All postitions have been greatly upgraded throughout the season.  We are the only team that I have seen getting blocks at the net.  All three of our middles have done this.  Impressive.  Setters have both taken the roll of controlling the offense and have improved immensely over the season.  Outside hitters have done an amazing job at serve receive.  This is how we shut down the opponent's serve.  DS and right sides have done the a great job of filling the gaps at the net and in the serve recieve and out of system play.

Overall, well played team effort.  Nolan Littiken stepped into the role of setter for the match.  We were able to give Trinity there fist loss of a set all season, but Trinity was able to rebound to win in 3.  25-20,20-25,9-15

Great Match last night against the Lincoln Wildcats.  Both teams played an exceptional match.  Liberty prevailed in the Edwardsville Cup game: 25-18, 25-22.  Go Panthers!!

Tough Loss to Trinity Lutheran.  20-25, 10-25.  We fought through some complacency and were able to put some good plays together, just not enough to overcome the strong Trinity serve.  We will be better for having the experience.
